DaNae’s Summer Internship at Louis Vuitton Americas
CWC is committed to connecting our Fellows to internships that provide real-world experience, meaningful mentorship, and direct pathways to career opportunities in the fashion industry.
This summer, CWC Year 2 Fellow DaNae interned at Louis Vuitton Americas’ Manhattan headquarters. There she supported the Human Resources team on corporate social responsibility and DEI initiatives.
From developing strategies to recruit underrepresented talent to enhancing internal engagement efforts, DaNae made her mark on one of the world’s most iconic fashion houses. She also gained insight into the intentional effort it takes to build culture and learned how cross-functional collaboration powers innovation at a global luxury brand.
About DaNae
DaNae is a recent graduate of Spelman College, an entrepreneur, and an example of what Black excellence looks like. She is also the founder of Update LLC, a DC-based tailoring business offering custom services and sewing classes.
