Meet the 2026 CWC Fellows Headed to Parsons!

This summer, four talented CWC Fellows are headed to Parsons Academy at Parsons School of Design in New York City.

Parsons Academy is a rigorous three-week pre-college program designed for high school students preparing for their creative careers. Fellows will learn from Parsons faculty through project-based coursework, portfolio development, industry guest speakers, field trips throughout New York City, and immersive experiences that connect classroom learning to the fashion industry. Students can explore specialized areas including fashion design, sewing and construction, styling, merchandising, visual communication, and accessories design.

Meet Adrian, Gavin, Keira, and Londyn, four talented Fellows who are ready to take the next step in their creative journeys.

CWC Year 6 Fellow Adrian

Adrian is an 11th grader from California whose passion for fashion began with a sewing machine and a desire to create. What started as a curiosity quickly grew into a love for sewing, screen printing, and designing garments that communicate ideas beyond words.

A self-taught creative, Adrian has developed skills in sewing, screen printing, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop while also studying marketing and digital media design. He even founded his school's Fashion Club, where students learn sewing, screen printing, and fashion history while exploring their own creativity.

Inspired by the sacrifices and resilience of his parents, Adrian hopes to build a future in fashion that combines sustainability, innovation, and community impact. He believes fashion can be a powerful tool for representation and self-expression.

This summer, Adrian is excited to strengthen his technical skills, learn from industry professionals, and continue building the foundation for a meaningful career in fashion.

CWC Year 6 Fellow Gavin

Gavin is an 11th grader from Ohio who sees fashion as a language of shape, movement, and self-expression. He is especially drawn to draping and loves how fabric can transform on the body, creating something entirely new.

His creative journey has included graphic design, sewing, fashion coursework, styling experiences, and Adobe Creative Suite certifications. Through each experience, Gavin has continued developing both his technical skills and creative perspective.

Inspired by creatives such as Telfar, Solange, Beyoncé, Phoebe Philo, and Grace Wales Bonner, Gavin is passionate about fashion that celebrates individuality, culture, and innovation.

At Parsons, Gavin is excited to refine his skills, explore new creative possibilities, and gain a deeper understanding of the fashion industry as he prepares for the next stage of his design journey.

CWC Year 6 Fellow Keira

Keira is an 11th grader from Florida who views fashion as a powerful art form that allows people to wear their creativity, personality, and ideas.

She has pursued her passion through extensive coursework in fashion design, drawing, painting, digital design, printmaking, and art history. Whether experimenting with new materials or challenging herself with unfamiliar techniques, Keira approaches every project as an opportunity to grow as a designer.

Her greatest inspiration is her mother, whose resilience and courage have encouraged her to embrace challenges and take creative risks. That mindset has helped Keira continually push herself beyond her comfort zone while developing her unique creative voice.

In the future, she hopes to work as a costume designer for theater and film or launch her own accessories company. This summer at Parsons, she looks forward to expanding her skills, exploring new areas of fashion, and continuing to develop her artistic vision.

CWC Year 6 Fellow Londyn

Londyn is an 11th grader from New York who sees fashion as both a creative outlet and a way to communicate who she is to the world.

Currently studying fashion design through her school's fashion program, Londyn has developed skills in draping, pattern making, sketching, styling, and visual storytelling. She is inspired by bold fashion icons, vibrant personal style, and the creativity she encounters every day.

Londyn dreams of building her own fashion brand and becoming a designer whose work extends beyond clothing into accessories, footwear, and home design. She hopes to create work that leaves a lasting impact while sharing her unique perspective through fashion.

At Parsons, Londyn is excited to learn from industry professionals, build new connections, and continue developing the skills needed to turn her creative ambitions into reality.

We will continue introducing our 2026 CWC Fellows throughout June. Stay tuned to learn more about the next generation of creative talent shaping the future of fashion.
